Welcome, brave adventurers…
… to the one hundred twelfth entry into our chronicle, recorded on Saturday March 21st, and released Wednesday March 25th over at heroesrisepodcast.com.
In this week’s Adventurer’s Pack, Lennon shows us what happens when you turn the heat up on his handouts. Next we check out some D&D News as we uncover:
- Some guidance from Wizards of the Coast for anyone looking to stay home and play D&D remotely
- And the latest hardcover sourcebook release, the Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount
After that we take a Short Rest and open our Adventurer’s Journals to find out how to remove the gamey smell of feats; before finally heading over to the Scrying Pool to see what you have to say.

This Week’s Community Questions
What’s your current D&D playing looking like? Business as usual? A massive paradigm shift online? Or is there something new and creative going on with your group?
Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount. Did you grab the book? Do you like what’s inside? Does it seem like a useful resource for non-Critters, or would you rather just pass it over?
Contest
And don’t forget we’re giving you the chance to win a box of Hell & High Water Dungeon Craft Tiles from 1985Games of your very own. To be in with a chance of winning, simply write in to the Scrying Pool letting us know of a time in your games when your characters have been stuck between Hell and High Water. Each entrant will then have their name put into a hat, and we’ll announce the winner on next week’s show.

I was running the Port Nyanzaru Epic for the Adventurers League. In an Epic, there are multiple tables that work towards a common objective and the players had failed in their objective. They then had a choice to make. One player from each table could sacrifice their character and join the demon pirates for eternity or they could let the pirates burn the town and kill everyone. Toasted marshmallows were had by all.
My table has been suspended and I am going to start a new Acquisitions Incorporated game when we are able to meet again. I have never had the need to play online but would be willing to learn. My job is essential though and I am working more now.
I am going to get Wildmount. Not for the setting but more for ideas. I like to pick and choose for my campaigns.
