This Week’s Community Questions
What do you think will be in the Gold Edition of Rising from the Last War? What would you like there to be in the box?
Where do you get inspiration for markets and shops in your campaign? Or do you not bother with roadside or in-town vendors at all?
Next week, the hosts will be donning their tinfoil hats to predict what Wizards will be up to next year. What are your predictions? Is Ostron right about manual of the planes? Will Ryu be getting more dragons? Will Lennon continue to be amazingly wrong? Tell us what you predict!

I was a few episodes behind and didn’t realize that you were at PAX Unplugged. I was there running Adventurers League and Acquisitions Incorporated games for TRI all weekend. Sorry I missed you. I am running games at PAX East if you are going to be there… First rounds on me. If not, see you next year…
As to the questions, the Beadle and Grimm sets don’t interest me but merchants in Faerun do.
I like to use the 2nd edition supplement Aurora’s Whole Realm Catalogue. It was Amazon in D&D before Amazon. Branches in every city. I’ve tweaked it for 5th edition and every branch has its own quirks. I still use specialized shops for magic items and flavor though.
For next year I hope to see a supplement for Sigil in the veins of Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate. Being able to access more worlds would open up the game and allow Wizards to have adventures cross over. Imagine a warforged in Ravnica or an Acqusitions Incorporated branch in Sharn. A noir Jim Darkmagic anyone.
PS. There will always be more dragons.
