Heroes Rise, tenth entry: Mordy’s Foam of Toes

Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the tenth entry into the Heroes Rise chronicle. This episode was recorded on Saturday, 3rd February 2018, and made available for download on Wednesday, 7th February 2018 at heroesrisepodcast.com

Lennon, Ostron and Ryu are back, and are mostly recovered! To kick off the show, in our Adventurer’s Packs this week… well, we’d love to tell you, but everybody knows what the first rule of Fight Club is. Next, we take a look at some D&D News as we cover:

  • The latest videos from D&D Beyond on Orcs and Tiamat
  • Neverwinter’s latest dev vlog covering The Lost City of Omu
  • And teasers for the latest source book for D&D,“ Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes.

After that we take a Short Rest and visit the Candlekeep Archives for the history of the Gith; before finishing off the show by looking into the Scrying Pool to see what you have to say.

mThis Week’s Community Questions

Are you hoping Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes will give us details of new planes to play in, or is it just going to be another list of creatures with some extra fluff and a few playable races?
Does the Lore on Tiamat or the Orcs leave you wondering?

Would it be possible to add timestamps to the section descriptions in the show notes? Or are they there and I’m just overlooking them? It would be great when I want to go back and listen to a subsection, like Short Rest or the Outtakes.

As always, keep up the great content!
