Heroes Rise, one hundred ninety-first entry: D&D Mac & Cheese

Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the one hundred ninety-first entry into our chronicle, recorded on Saturday, December 4th, and released Wednesday, December 8th over at heroesrisepodcast.com.

This week we’re going to wander into the Market of Minauros to see what mysterious and magical items have filtered up for sale.

Next we gather round the campfire for some Dissonant Whispers as we ask “when does D&D stop being D&D”?

After that we take a Short Rest and head into the Archives of Candlekeep as we prepare for our Excursion to Exandria; before finally heading over to the Scrying Pool to see what you [all] have to say.

Community Questions
You’ve heard the opinions of the Hosts and Whisperers, but what’s your take? Should D&D stay in its lane, and maintain a focus on fantasy first with only slight tangents? Or is D&D meant to be unshackled, free to explore other genres and settings beyond the basics.
Do any of the Kickstarters (or the pseudo-Kickstarter) catch your interest? Do you want a new collection of magic items? Or would you like some maps? Would you rather…more maps?
