Heroes Rise, one hundred seventy-sixth entry: Megalomaniacal Greyhawk

Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the one hundred seventy-sixth entry into our chronicle, recorded on Saturday, July 31st, and released Wednesday, August 4th, over at heroesrisepodcast.com.

In this week’s Adventurer’s Pack, Lennon shows us how even DMs can have heroes.

We’re skipping D&D News this week and heading straight into a Long Rest as we head into the Archives of Candlekeep to learn all about Greyhawk; before finally heading over to the Scrying Pool to see what you have to say.

This Week’s Community Questions
[a word from the web gnome]
Ahem, yes hello again. Err … In a mysterious turn of events, all the Scrying Pool questions were dissolved in acid and consumed by a confused Gelatinous Cube. Or maybe a mimic.
(sensors recalibrating)
What? Oh, repeating last week’s questions? Ahh! Thank you. Excellent information. Yes. Yes.
(tinkering, followed by banging and yelling)
What do you think about the offering in the special Witchlight boxes? Do you think the silver edition has a lot more stuff than previous offerings? Do you want your own Unicorn horn for $500? Is the faerie dragon letting all that fey magic mess with his head?
Have you been playing through the tie-in adventures from Magic the Gathering? Have you used any one-ring level artifacts in your games?
Do you think the Tal’dorei campaign book is another example of a larger marketing strategy for third party settings from Wizards of the Coast? Or is Mercer just doing his own thing and Ostron needs less of whatever that dragon took?
