Heroes Rise, eighty-eighth entry: What Came First? The Chicken or the Tree?

Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the eighty-eighth entry into our chronicle, recorded on Sunday September 8th, and released Wednesday September 11th over at heroesrisepodcast.com.

We’re skipping this week’s Adventurer’s Pack to bring you another entry into the Quest Log as we review Kitchen of the Mad Baker. Next we check out some D&D News as we uncover:

  • The latest Unearthed Arcana dealing with Sorcerers and Warlocks
  • A very spoilery Spoilers and Swag stream
  • And the D&D Essentials Kit, which is now not just in Target

After that we’ll take a Short Rest and head to the Archives of Candlekeep for some information on Ambulatory Corpses, before finally heading over to the Scrying Pool to see what you have to say.

This Week’s Community Questions
Do you feel drawn to trying out either of the new subclasses? How much of a fan of tentacles and mucus are you really?
Avernus Spoilers: are you avoiding them like a demonic incursion, or did you dive right in and soak up the extra info in advance?
Is there a great module on the DM’s Guild you’ve played or created? Let us know and we might get it in the Quest Log.
And give us your broken character builds! Ostron will review them and the most broken example he can find will receive HR Swag.
