Heroes Rise, seventieth entry: Flow-JIST-on, Flow-JIST-on

Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the seventieth entry into our chronicle, recorded on Saturday April 20th, and released Wednesday April 24th over at heroesrisepodcast.com.

This week for our Adventurer’s Pack, Lennon updates us on the status of his homebrew. Next we check out some D&D News as we uncover:

  • D&D Live 2019’s latest updates
  • And how WizKids are upping the three-dragon ante

After that we take a Short Rest and dive into the Archives of Candlekeep as we learn about Spelljammer, before finally looking into the scrying pool to see what you have to say.

I loved the discussion on Spelljammer (though I’ve never played it). It seems like Dragons are to Ryu what Space Ships are to Lennon. For her, any criticism the least bit involving dragons is concluded with “…but dragons!” (and I agree). A similar argument could be made for a space campaign (“…but space ships!”).

It’s one of the reasons I enjoy the TV show “The Expanse”.
