Welcome, brave adventurers…

… to the sixty-eighth entry into our chronicle, recorded on Saturday April 6th, and released Wednesday April 10th over at heroesrisepodcast.com.

This week for our Adventurer’s Pack, Ostron shows us his latest exploits. Next we check out some D&D News as we uncover:

  • Bountiful Book Bundles of the Dungeon Master’s Guild
  • All the details we could get from the latest Spoilers & Swag stream
  • And what we know so far of D&D Live 2019: The Descent

After that we take a Short Rest and look at our Adventurer’s Journals for some tips on being helpfully helpful, before finally looking into the scrying pool to see what you have to say.

I was very glad to hear Lennon suggest the reading of Matt Mercer’s Tal’Dorei Campaign Setting book. Critical Role hype aside, it is a great introduction for budding DMs to get an idea of world building for their own campaigns and settings. For me this is a very daunting and intimidating challenge. Mercer is incredibly adept at teaching D&D on every level of player experience. It was also well thought out and written.
